Dmitry Malakhov

Chair of the High Judicial Council of Kazakhstan, the body that secures the President’s constitutional powers to form the courts and guarantees the independence and immunity of judges. Appointed on 19 September 2024; from February 2024 until then he headed the Agency for Financial Monitoring. Born 27 August 1974 in Kokshetau; graduated from the Almaty Higher School of the Interior Ministry (1995) and the Ryskulov University of Economics and Finance (2005).
