The Saudi-led coalition said on 16 October that it had intercepted three drones over the south of the country and Riyadh and two cruise missiles over the Red Sea.

According to Anadolu, the coalition also speaks of dead and wounded in Houthi attacks on Saudi airports; the figures come from the coalition's statement and have not been independently verified. In the night to 17 October, the agency writes, the Houthis attacked the area of Aden airport and the Badr camps.
