From 1 January 2027, banks will submit reports to the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market through special "data showcases", according to a draft resolution of the regulator; the agency will get direct access to banks' data; the new rules, BES.media writes, also concern data quality, IT infrastructure and cybersecurity.
Separately, BES.media writes that artificial intelligence processed 2.8 million citizen appeals through the eOtinish platform, but there are no statistics on its errors. Both reports rely on announcements; the primary sources (the draft resolution, the platform operator's data) have not been checked.
