Kazakhstan has 10 points and has now strengthened its lead in the group. Slovakia are second (6 points).

The visitors managed to pull one back only in the 51st minute, thanks to an accurate strike from Matus Bero, a midfielder of the Dutch club Vitesse and the Slovakia national team. The game thus ended 2:1 in favour of Kazakhstan.

Recall that earlier, on 6 June, at the Anton Malatinsky stadium in Trnava (Slovakia), in the second round of the Nations League, Slovakia hosted its League C, Group 3 opponent — the Kazakhstan national team.

The first meeting of the rivals in Slovakia went to the Kazakhstanis: Kazakhstan's national team won 1:0.

In the middle of the first half, in the 26th minute, Kazakhstan midfielder Aslan Darabayev opened the scoring, assisted by Elkhan Astanov. That goal proved the winner for Kazakhstan's national team.

The Nations League is an international football tournament among European national teams held under the auspices of UEFA. The teams are divided into four leagues (A, B, C and D) according to their ranking.
