President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev spoke by telephone with Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina and warmly congratulated her on her historic success, VRKNews.kz reports, citing the press service of the head of state.
The president noted Elena's supreme skill, her will to win and her exemplary conduct on court.
The head of state also thanked the outstanding athlete for her successful performance under the flag of our country and for promoting its image on the international stage.
The president believes that Elena Rybakina's grand success will give a boost to the further development of tennis in Kazakhstan and attract more children to this wonderful sport.
